Spring Equinox Ostara Workshop

Welcome to our Spring Equinox Workshop celebrating Ostara!

Sunday, March 19th, from 1:30- 3:00 pm.

We will be learning about the history of Ostara, the Celtic holiday celebrating the coming of Spring! 

We will be studying the Norse Runes from Scandinavia, specifically the Rune, Berkana, which represents fertility and growth. Also, honoring the sacred Birch Tree 🌳

We will host an opening circle with breathwork and meditation. Each student will draw their own personal Rune, meditate with it, and journal. 💜

Lesley, from Appalachian Alchemy, will teach us all about eco-dying by using food scraps, plants, and herbs. Each participant will leave with four uniquely dyed eggs, the knowledge to show your friends and family, a special egg for ritual, a ritual kit complete with instructions on how to nurture the new Spring intentions we will set in class, along with plant identification skills to find a sacred birch tree. 

Each participant will learn how to dye eggs with food scraps and herbs. They will leave with four eggs, one ritual egg, and a ritual kit with instructions. 

Please bring a journal and pen; all else will be provided.
