Herbal Syrup Making Class at Shakti In the Mountains
Come join us at Shakti in the Mountains for another exciting hands-on, herbal medicine-making class. Lesley, with Appalachian Alchemy, is teaching us how to prepare herbal syrups. There is an incredible amount of creative space when it comes to making medicinal syrups. There are much more possibilities than the ever-popular elderberry syrup.
In this workshop, you will learn about the benefits of medicinal herbs, which ones work well in syrup form, as well as formulate a special seasonal blend.
Each participant will leave with their own bottle to share with family, friends, or to keep for themselves. A full-color worksheet will be provided with herb descriptions, instructions, and tips so you can practice your new skill at home.
Please bring a pint jar with a lid, notebook, and pen.
